Hi everyone,

My fiancé interview will be next month Sep 18, 2012. I already send all the documents to him last month. yet still need to send more lol :bonk:

Just to be in safe side I’m using my tax transcript instead of the form 1040 so I’m sending him that soon.

I already gave him some copy of my paystubs 2wk of July ‘2012...now I’m wondering how recent should be my paystubs?? Is that okay? Or should I send him this month too??

Also how recent should be the letter of employer and letter of intent? July 31, 2012 date is fine?

Thanks!!!

Hi takis, with regards to tax transcripts, i think it will be safer if you send 1040 or if you can provide both then maybe send both... i've read one thread here that the pre-screener at the USEM didn't even know what a tax transcript was and the interviewee was turned away....

With regards to paystubs, i would say, the more recent it is, the better... maybe, you can send your fiance a pdf copy of the paystubs that he could print out. in addition,if you think of it, recent paystubs will also serve as back up to the employment letter which will say you are still employed...it's just my take. I myself have employemnt letter dated 24th of July (interview is 10th of September), and it's PITA to get another one; so I will get the latest paystubs to backup my employment.

Maybe other members here will give more feedback about how recent the employment letter should be.

Our K1 interview was August 14th. We supplied Tax Transcripts, Employment letter dated July 25th and Pay stubs through July 15th. All were accepted.

@pinoypinay & diane mark

:rofl::rofl: that's funny lol maybe his/her fiancé didn't make his/her fiancé familiar with all the documentation lol

My fiancé has the copy of my 1040 (2009-2011). But to be in the safe side might as well send him the tax transcript.

Okay I guess no choice is to send him more of my recent paystubs lol

thanks guys :thumbs:
