Hello Im a newbie here and wanted to see if any of you experts out there could answer any of my questions regarding Deferred Action. So I know I would qualify as I meed all of the requirements but I am also aware that its only for 2 yrs and that this is not a permanent fix to my status. So I am married to a us born citizen and have been wanting to apply through him but have been afraid of the 10 yr ban. Although my mom has tried to apply in the past where I was included in the application she said she had applied before the yr 2001 but we cant seem to find any of the documents. I tried doing a FOIA under her name but didn't receive anything that would help me. She had applied through my grandparents should I do a FOIA under their names and maybe then the applications would show up? Does anybody know if theres a better faster way to know what applications my mom has filed for in the past?.... And my main question is if I tried to apply through my husband now after being approved deferred action for 2 yrs would I still be banned for 10 yrs?. Or could I stay here and fix my status here as long as i keep renewing my permit?... And last just curious on wether its safe to travel through flights in the u.s?... Any advice will be helpful. Thanks for reading!
