My Fiance in the states filed our petition today

the journey begins haha wish me luck !!

and I made a checklist based on USCIS's official instruction for my bf

and now i would like to share it on VJ since i got so much info from here !

PLEASE CONSIDER IS AS REFERENCE NOT AS AN OFFICIAL CHECKLIST

M and my bf NEVER GOT MARRIED BEFORE

NEVER HAVE CHANGED NAMES

NEVER MET THROUGH INTERNATIONAL MARRIAGE BROKER

so some ppl might need to modify hope it helps

thanks for this check list - will come in handy very soon1 just wondering doesnt the alien fiance also have to explan question 18 about 'how you met within last 2 yrs'? or will a summary by one of the 2 be ok? i thought both people had to explain in their words.

Form I-129F is the US citizen's Petition for the Alien Fiance(e). Question: 18. "Has your fiancé(e) met and seen you within the two-year period immediately preceding the filing of this petition?" The question is in Part B, "Information about your alien fiance(e)."

The petitioner and beneficiary each have to submit letters of intent to marry.
