No.. as far as I am aware as being USC you will be allowed in the consulate, but you cannot be with them during the interview process.

Why would you wanna accompany them to the interview?

My colleagues have said they'd like to have someone from our organization go with them ... mainly concerned about the language barrier. They are not fluent in English and, while we'll arrange for interpreters for their travel and for their time in the U.S., they're concerned about their ability to understand and respond to the interview questions.

Interviews are conducted in the native language so that eliminates the language problem.

In any event, a tourist visa is only about the applicant. No one else will be allowed to attend.

Non English speaking countries have option where applicant can ask for the interpreter and Consulate will provide the interpreter.

So language should not be a problem.
