so till now we havent received the hard copy of noa1.. our petition was accepted on may 1 and uscis told my fiance when he called them last may 11 that they have already mailed the receipt.. my fiance kept on calling them but all they said is to wait.. wait.. it takes time.. blah blah... is there a reason for me to worry that till now we havent receive it yet?

OUR K1 TIMELINE

03/09/2012 Sent first I-129F while deployed at Korea.. He only sent the form so we have to send it again.. lol

04/24/2012 Send second I-129F

05/01/2012 USCIS acceptance date routed to VSC

05/12/2012 NOA1

10/25/2012 NOA2

CR1 JOURNEY

09/26/2012 3rd visit

10/09/2012 Wedding

10/20/2012 I-130 Sent to Chicago Lockbox via UPS

10/22/2012 Filing Date

10/25/2012 confirmation email and text ( MSC )

10/26/2012 expedite request

10/31/2012 NOA1 hard copy

11/02/2012 NOA2 yay !!!!

11/05/2012 Case sent to NVC

11/13/2012 Case number/IIN assigned

11/16/2012 AOS fee bill and DS3032 ready

11/19/2012 AOS paid

11/20/2012 AOS shows paid/DS3032 sent

11/30/2012 AOS package sent( delayed coz of hubby's itrs grrrr...)

12/01/2012 DS3032 accepted

If you sent the petition on May 1st. You need to wait 5 months before you start to worry. Everything is fine no need to worry this early in the game . Use your receipt # at this website to check your status >>>>>>>>

may 1 is our acceptance date.. we sent the petition april 24th... so there's no need to worry that we havent receive yet the hard copy of the receipt? thank you for your response.. :)

You should have received your NOA1 hard copy by now. But it's not that huge of a big deal. Some people have received their green card without ever getting their NOA1.

Do you have your case number? If so, you can track your progress on the website with that while you wait for your hard copy.

Also you should maybe call and make sure they have your correct address on file.

HUSBAND'S CASE

9/17/2011 - sent I-13

09/19/2011 - noa1 received

3/16/2012 - case sent to my local USCIS office for additional processing

4/21/2012 - AP. If we haven't heard from them in SIX MONTHS (omg) we can feel free to call them!!! Thanks!

9/20/2012 - Interview scheduled - October 3!!!!

10/3/2012 - Interview went well but she must look at his A-file more before decision.

10/12/2012 - I-130 APPROVED! APPROVED! APPROVED!

KIDS' CASES

04/20/2012: NOA107/20/2012: instead of an approval, we got thrown into AP. sigh

11/01/2012: Boys' I-130 interview set for November 28, 2012.

11/28/2012: I-130s APPROVED! APPROVED! APPROVED!

12/14/2012: NVC Received

12/31/2012: Case number/IIN

12/31/2012: DS-3032 sent

01/08/2013: DS-3032 accepted

01/02/2013: AOS bill0

1/03/2013: AOS bill shows PAID

US Embassy Lagos

02/22/2013: Embassy received

03/01/2013: Medical

03/20/2013: Interview - was told the boys would have been approved on the spot if they had pics! Errrr :-(

04/15/2013: DNA test

05/15/2013: Emailed embassy BEGGING them to let boys drop off passports for visa insertion. IT WORKED!!!

05/31/2013: Visa in hand

06/02/2013: POE JFK!!!!!!
