Hi All,

First this being my first post, let me start by thanking on fellow VJ members, you have been a lot of help and support over the past few months.

My I-30 was approved June 20, so i figured i would give them 3 to 4 weeks to process ( After reading all the posts)but today i finally couldn't wait any more and decided to call NVC to inquire. After about 13 mins of hold music ( which by the way is BAD worse than elevator music) lady answers my call and asks for Receipt number of approval notice and tell me they only received my file on July 9 and it will take 20 working days to input all my info into the system so call back in 20 working days and by God she was very firm but polite about that.

My question is why would it take 20 days to get file from California to New Hampshire?

It takes less time to receive mail from any part of the world. B-)

Regards

Your petition is already in New Hampshire. Now they want 20 more days to put it into the system. So 45 days from NOA2 to case number. My NOA2 was June 19 and still no case number. :crying:

Well I was approved June 29 and still no Case Received. This is crazy if they say scan one more time. Why so I can be in the email logjam with the others. Ughhh so frustrating.

I must admit I am surprised I have yet to hear "wait 20 days" I have gotten it takes 15 days to arrive. Now that you are pass those 15 days you need to scan your approval letter tp nvcresearch so we can find out where it is. Doesn't that seem weird to scan and what it pops up and they know where it is? It has GPS on it. Good grief. Just got off the phone and already ticked.

Guess we all get to join the August thread. Oh well. I am still going to go back and visit husband its 10 months now ya'll OMG

You can try that....but it is waste of time. I did that with no reply, and still waiting case number after 36 days.
