Hi friends. I just wanna know if there is someone here under CR1/IR1, who filed last May 2012, without filing DCF, expedite or any criteria which entitles for fast processing, In short, "ordinary filing", who got his/her NOA 2 already? Also, does CSC is still on the mood of giving approvals in just 3-4months? Just like the other filers who got approved quick. Thanks!

Hi, am an ordinary mid Jan filer (18th Jan is my NOA1 date). I am still waiting for NOA2. My file is at Vermont center; however, based on the Igor's list most of the recently approved petitions for CR1/IR1 are from Feb 2012. I acn see some March and April approvals as well.

Ron and Sheng, I am in the same boat as you. I filed last May 15, 2012 and had received nothing but the notice that they have received my application. VJ estimates that we would get a reply between Aug 27 and Sep 5 based on the feedback that all filers send Visa Journey.

Let's hope for the best.

I've been receiving "update" email from those who have been approved on their I130. In fact there's been a couple of May 2012 filers who have already received their NOA2. Their good news is also good news for as we see the trickles come through.

Hang in there!

We are all in this together...which helps to know we are not alone - I miss my husband terribly and it is agonising being apart from him.

We filed our petition and received our NOA1 on May 21st 2012. I am hoping for our NOA2 between early to late-ish September as has been estimated by VJ timeline.

Let us continue to offer updates and moral support to one another :)

Yes I agree. It's so hard being apart with my husband. It gives me so much emotional, physical and mental stress. :( I've seen already 2 cases here in VJ who also filed last May and got approved already without expedite. I hope ours will come sometime this August. Ours was received and in the system on May 31 and NOA 1 was June 5, but when hubby called USCIS, they said we still belong to May filers. They also told my hubby that they've seen cases who got approved in less than the processing time. This PT depends on how many people filed petition on that particular, that affects the approval time. That's what they told him. ANyway, let's keep each one of us here who belongs to May updated and I declare in Jesus name, we'll get our NOA2 this August!

Yours should be right behind mine and RonNSheng. Mine got approved (NOA2) on 8/3/2012. I have just received my MNL Case Number and documents are going to follow in the next few days. With mine, I am actually trying to hold off because I have just rented my house out in California and our plan is to emigrate around Spring next year, rather than before Xmas. We'll probably maximize the time allowed after visa-issuance of six months to stretch it a little until April of next year when school is over in the Philippines.

In my situation, I am here with my wife and son in the Philippines having just retired from the military.
