Read up on "Operation Fast & Furious". Obama sold automatic weapons to the Mexican drug cartels with the help of Eric Holder.

The Fast and Furious we’re concerned with was one of the operations conducted as part of Project Gunrunner, a program of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) that was begun in 2005 under the Bush administration. The idea behind Project Gunrunner was to deliberately allow traceable firearms to go to Mexican drug cartel members, with the hope that this would help lead law enforcement to higher-ranking criminals.

At the time, under the Bush administration Department of Justice (DOJ), no arrests or indictments were made. After President Barack Obama took office in 2009, the DOJ reviewed Wide Receiver in September 2009[26] and found that guns had been allowed into the hands of suspected gun traffickers. Indictments began in 2010, over three years after Wide Receiver concluded. As of October 4, 2011, nine people had been charged with making false statements in acquisition of firearms and illicit transfer, shipment or delivery of firearms.[18] As of November, charges against one defendant had been dropped; five of them had pled guilty, and one had been sentenced to one year and one day in prison. Two of them remained fugitives

It turns my stomach to think that our government was supplying the Mexican drug cartels with thousands of automatic weapons. Some of those weapons have been traced back to gruesome murders committed in Mexico. What was Obama and Holder thinking when they decided to supply all those guns to those gangster criminals in Mexico?

I'm not sure I understand. I feel fairly sure you are not so wacko that you would actually make an attempt on the president's life or join some half-baked militia 'revolution'! So why is it that you and other people on the right make all these clever statements about guns with the implication that maybe you really would do such a thing? "According to twenty-year ATF veteran Jay Wachtel, letting guns "walk" was done in the past in a controlled manner that involved surveillance and eventual seizure of the weapons.[1] According to ATF field agents involved in Operation Fast and Furious, under Project Gunrunner "ATF agents were trained to interdict guns and prevent criminals from obtaining them" and not to allow guns to walk and then disappear.

It wasn't selective, I was just making it clear that the Obama comment was totally unfounded.

Go read up the conspiracy theorists' explain how "Fast and Furious" is part of this administration's attempts to circumvent the Second Amendment and introduce Federal gun control.

I am afraid the conspiracy is much bigger and far more vast than previously thought. It all began under Bush and the predecessor of F&F which was 'Gun runner'....

He can be accountable, someone hiring a contract killer is equally accountable as the killer but anyways my comment was not in regard to if he personally sold the guns or not.

Unfortunately right now its Obama who is not willing to disclose the details.

i going to go out on a limb here & say no. but, he did evoke executive priviledge? there are obviously details inside those documents he does not want made public. i'm almost 100% positive obama knew nothing about F&F until after the border agent was killed & the story broke. the questions i have are the same the house committee had...what did holder know & when did he know it? now we need to add why is obama covering for him?
