Hello All i have Some questions to ask if any one can Help me I am American citizen Born Raised in the united states and Married to a Moroccan Husband I do not have work i get help from the Government i get SSI . And I have a Woman who is Sponsoring my Husband . My husband went to his interview and i thought everything was all done . But in his country they gave him a form G221 and also another form Stating that he also needed this Form I864A to be completed . Because the wonderful woman that is helping me due to the fact i do not make Enough income . She is putting her income and it happened to be she Filed Jointly with her Husband . So Now this form I864A is Asking Original Signed I864A From Sponsors spouse or Joint Sponsors W2s , I was confused what they are asking About Co Sponsor , I have no idea who is a Co Sponsor i called visa center they explain i am Sponsor his wife ,But they also told me the lady that is Helping me is Joint Sponsor . But they will not Explain Who is Co sponsor this is Actually Driving me Nuts .. Can Any one Help me i feel Clueless to All that is going on ...

You as the petitioner, even if you have a co sponsor, need to fill out the i 864 as well. you are the primary sponsor. And if your co sponsor filed joint taxes with her spouse, the spouse needs to fill out the i 864a. Co sponsor and joint sponsor are the same thing.

You can file and have a co-sponsor..it shouldn't be apro lem...co-sponsors are people who can show income and add to yours for Affidavit of Support...make sure u have their income tax returns as well..then it shouldn't be a problem...good luck..i petitioned my husband and had my parents as co-sponsors..

Good Afternoon Thank you for your Response it really help me a lot ,I have one more question the Joint Sponsor Co Sponsor is the Same person you mention OK but her Spouse her Husband they are Asking in this form I864A for the W2's and it happens that he does not have such form he has his own Business he is Self Employed . My question is the Co Sponsor sent her transcripts of 4 Years and Taxes . and there Asking for W2's is it for her Spouse because i believe if you File Jointly they have this information . I thank you So kindly for helping me out All God Bless you & Many Good Luck tom all that are going through the Same things as me and my Husband . Thanks to this web Site there are kind people that help So much others peace out .

Thank you every one for your help have a Great Day and a Wonderful Week . I feel the lady that is my joint Sponsor She sent her joint taxes So why are they Asking for W2's . Her husband is joint in her taxes . and he does not file W2 forms he is Self employed he has his Own Business as i said .. Thank you all
