Last time I went to Istanbul, it was the day they blew up the Embassy, I was watching the TV Coverage in the Heathrow Departure Lounge, the Turks had surcharges Yanks for Visa's as the US Gov would not cough up as much as they wanted to allow US troops to be positioned on the Iraq Border.

These people needed to be made an example of to prevent future occurrences of this nature. No more silly "flotillas" since the incident, so I'd say their strategy worked.

You can't possibly be suggesting that their interest in America is purely of a financial nature! That would mean they care more for our money than then care for justice and peace!
