Your question cannot be answered since it would be based upon guesses. First: File the 129-F and wait for the NOA1. That simple. You seem in no hurry so my advice is appropriate. Time periods are based upon individual applications/Petitions.

based on what ive seen on this forum since im a member i can say it depends a lot about the time of the year and numbers of petitions. there's a higher chance that spring filers are approved faster (3-4 months) and august-november filers have a minus because uscis takes a break on christmas. some october filers ive seen last year waited even for 9 months or more

I'll be sending in the I-129F in october of 2012. However, I'll be sending it in from the Philippines using Fed-ex. I'm in no hurry to do it because I filed an I-129F last year and it was approved. Things didn't work out so well so here I am again. I still have that I-129F as reference so it can help me with the one I'll process in October.

This clarifies your position better to understand from the beginning Topic.

May I ask: If you were approved for the 129-F and recieved a NOA1 then you were awaiting a NOA2. Did you get that and tranferred to the Phils and a MNL# issued?

My thought is: The posibility your previous Petition could still be active. There are lots of posibilities. Could you supply info as to the above questions to help others.

I can tell you, I have extended our Petition due to employment reasons well over a year. Once a MNL# is issued you can pay the Visa Fee which is good for 1 year and you can pay it again if need be. The Counsulate will want to proof of a ongoing relationship after that point. Sometimes, your Petition is extended case by case circumstances.

Does this apply to your Petition?
