1-2 weeks at NVC

US embassy - country specific some really long others not so long. Someone who went through Nigeria can answer that one.

hello

I am starting my process to bring my finacee here to the US to get married. I want to make sure I am doing everythink ok can some one help me out with this?

Also do anyone know how long this process is going to take??

Be sure to read the Nigerian Consulate interview reviews. It helps to see what was asked, demeanor of CO (Consulate Officer) and what to expect.

You will be interviewing at the toughest Consulate on earth. So being prepared is a must.

1. You got your meet within the last 2 years

2. Your pics

3. Visits for a few weeks

4, Chats, IM's, Phone calls, Emails

5. All red flags addressed (age, religions difference, divorced, children, short visits, race?

you both have to write letters of intent to marry with in 90 days arriving in the u.s. having met whitin 2 years evidence of your relationship e,mail. chats skype. trips to meet and visit receipts, gifts, a lot of pictures togather and family dates and places,read the guides over and over, look at the example forms.and the flow charts.

My case got transfered to the California office instead of TX. Is that good or bad? also can somone tell me about that office?

When you mailed the petition, you sent it to a lockbox. This is where All petitions go. From the lockbox they get sent to either California or Vermont, depending on where you reside. Good luck with your journey.

06/10/2015-Went to info pass appt. Hubby got a 1yr. Extension stamp in his passport and biometrics done

08/12/2015-ROC Approved. Got letter in the mail.

08/29/2015-received new card in the mail.
