My appointment is tomorrow..... starting to get butterflies!!! Can anyone give me a time estimate as to how long the interview will last?

10/13/2006 - Received K1 Visa

01/12/2007 - We're Married!

02/21/2007 - AOS & EAD filed

02/28/2007 - NOA Date

03/08/2007 - Request For Initial Evidence Received (Case Suspended)

03/17/2007 - Biometrics Appointment

03/25/2007 - Requested evidence sent to USCIS

04/09/2007 - Touched (Evidence received - Case Resumed)

05/02/2007 - Touched (Case has been sent to California Service Center for processing)

05/23/2007 - EAD approved, card received by mail

05/26/2007 - Touched (Case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred)

06/11/2007 - Request For Additional Evidence received (Case Suspended)

08/27/2007 - Request evidence sent to USCIS

09/07/2007 - Touched (Evidence received - Case Resumed)

10/11/2007 - Touched (Current Status: Card production ordered)

10/11/2007 - Touched (Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident) YAY!

10/15/2007 - Received Welcome Letter via mail

10/22/2007 - Received 2-year Conditional Greencard :-)

it will not take long and let me tell u this :) the people in Vancouver are EXCELLANT !!! I cannot say enough good things about them :) and I have heard the same from others. I think I was there maybe 1/2 hr not including waiting time. Relax it will be like your going to meet an old friend :)

Depends if anyone is in front of you. I think I was in there over an hour. The actual interview is about 3-5 minutes.

*January 24 2006 - mailed in I129-F petition

*January 25 2006 - I129-F received at CSC

*January 30 2006 - packet returned.....arggggggggg we forgot one signature!!

*January 31 2006 - sent I129-F back to the CSC, hope we did not forget anything else

*February 1 2006 - I129-F received at CSC again

*February 3 2006 - NOA1

*April 20 2006 - NOA2!!!!!

*April 24 2006 - Touched!

*May 15 2006 - NVC received petition today!

*May 17 2006 - Case left NVC today!!

*May 30 2006 - Received Packet 3 from Vancouver!

*May 30 2006 - Faxed back Packet 3!!

*June 6 2006 - Received packet 4!

*June 20 2006 - Medical in Saskatoon

*June 28 2006 - Interview in Vancouver!!

I was there for 2 1/2 hours last week but I was last in line, and they forgot about me after my interview. :lol: (Got sent to window 2 to await instructions for picking up the visa... and waited... and waited.) The lady was mortified when she realized I was there and ran off to get the visa so I wouldn't have to come back.

To echo what others have said: Vancouver's great! :luv: Everyone was very friendly, from the guards, to the lady who puts the documents in order, to the consular officer who does the interviews.

Vancouver is, as everyone has said, GREAT! Ophilia is the name of the lady taking your paperwork - she is stern, but if you are organized (which anyone on VJ is) she will love you! I was there for a total of 2.5 hours but i chatted with the others who were getting interviewed. I was interviewed last. The interviewer is really nice and it is nothing more than a chat. Really cool people there! Have fun! :thumbs:

K1 Journey:

April 13/06 NOA1 from NSC

June 1/06 - Moved to CSC

August 12/06 APPROVED - NOA2!!

August 28/06 Left NVC. . . Vancouver Bound!

September 27/06 Interview APPROVED, with visa in hand

October 29/06 Moving Date

December 30/06 Married!!

AOS Journey:

January 16/07 Sent out AOS, EAD, and AP docs

January 23/07 NOA1's for AOS, EAD and AP

February 13/07 Biometrics in Portland, OR

April 7/07 EAD and AP Received

April 24/07 Interview Scheduled . . . and APPROVED, stamp and all!

May 7/07 Greencard is in my hands!

ROC Journey:

February 17/09 Sent I-751 to CSC

February 18/09 NOA1

March 14/09 Biometrics appt.

April 22/09 Date of Approval!!

June 25/09 Greencard arrives in the mail!

I had Ophelia today. She was great!

October 1 2004 Married in Dallas, TX

February 2005 Moved to British Columbia, Canada

June 2006 Sent off Application for my Canadian Permanent Residence

October 13, 2006 DCF - Took I-130 to US Consulate in Vancouver

October 17, 2006 DCF - Returned to US Consulate in Vancouver - I-130 approved!

October 30, 2006 DCF - Receieved Packet!

November 06, 2006 DCF - Mailed Part 1 of packet to Montreal
