OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

He doesn't go on forums or anything....I am the 'chatterer' in the relationship and I only chat with ppl on VJ or family/friends...

Well I hardly chat anymore. On VJ is about the only place I chat, if I chat. Oh, and the occasional gabbly which we all haven't done in awhile! :) I think gabbly's a forgotten thing!

I only chat and "listen" with VJ'ers also. This is so addicting. I would be too paranoid to try to meet someone "online". Just me I guess and old fashioned.

10Yr GC arrived 07/02/09 - Naturalization is next

Neither of us chat much anymore, but I agree with the posters that would say 'it's a problem if it's hidden.' I'm pretty much a blog addict, but it's all comments and forums and info.

On VJ I feel it's more of a common bond thing because of immigration and/or dealing with the same countries, and so I don't think it's weird to chat to people in VJ's chatroom.

I love chatting. My husband does not mind it. however, he dont chatt so he knows chatting online is away for me to waste my time. he is cool with it. as for meeting online- i have done it alot of times. with the line of work I do - its so common to meet people off line. My Husband has also met people offline as well people from VJ.

05/20/2009: APPROVED

06/23/2009: 10 Year Green Card arrived
