Hi Im new here. I just want to share my story and hoping some could give me useful insights. I came here on B2 visa and got married to my boyfriend on his birthday (it was his birthday wish). so thats basically almost a month that i arrived in usa. I have a roundtrip flight back to my country but after we got married, we started talking about family and have decided that i will stay. I honestly does not have the intention to stay as we have already planned our wedding in my country for this coming december or early of 2013. Also, i have a great career which i only filed leave from work for the duration of my travel. We are now in the process of doing all our papers (thanks to the help of visajourney we didnt need to hire a lawyer). Now, im thinking if i have to include a one page brief description of our love story telling how we met and why we suddenly decided for me to stay. Basically, our reason is to start our family and it was not plan. I said at POE that im just visiting for a month. I arrived April 6 and got married on april 29.

They don't need a description of your love story. All you need to do is submit all evidences that proves your marriage is real. You guys will get your chance to tell the IO that gets to interview you when the time comes all that. So for the time being, that is not required of you, at least to my knowledge.

You could also wait for much more experienced people on here to debate on it as I don't know it all. Good luck!

I didn't, I guess you can if you want.

especially you said you want to explain why you decide to stay, I don't see the point.

If they think there's a problem, they are not gonna change how they feel just because a letter you wrote...

So just submit all the evidence you have. Should be enough

just submit the papers and evidence they are asking for. if they need more, they will send you an RFE. you will have enough time to tell your story at the interview ... and that question will come up!

As said, no need or purpose in including a love story. They likely wouldn't even read it.

USCIS employees are trained to look at facts and base conclusions and decisions on evidence and applicable case law.

Intent isn't considered an issue in most cases as they cannot deny your petition based on intent alone.

You will be just fine.

As others have said, nothing much to do in terms of what you submit; but; you mentioned there were plans to marry in your country: DO you have anything that can help support that? I would work on preparing evidence in case you get asked. As well, you mentioned a job, Is there a way to obtain evidence that you were planning to go back, for example, a project you were working and plans/appointments etc that were waiting for you to go back? As before, prepare evidence in case a RFE comes in.

What? no one's suggesting an 11 page tome of love story??? ;)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

We had series of emails to the resort/hotel for our reception. Then, for the job, i have some papers to prove that i was being asked to go back after the duration of my travel. Also because i had to resign for not coming back as planned.
