Hello fellow VJers! I just wanted to say Thank You for the vast wealth of knowledge available on this site. I had originally wanted to hire an attorney for this process - mostly because my job is very demanding and my time is limited. Yes, they actually expect me to earn my pay. :wow: However, my SO, who is very independent, wanted us to do it ourselves. I acquiesced agreed to her demands request and we began gathering various and sundry items required for this next chapter in our lives. I must say that without VJ, this process would be like solving a Rubik's cube while blindfolded.

I want to give a special shout out to Darnell. I have been to Wuhan and will be there again in August.

NOA1 has been received....now the waiting begins. :clock: Thank you ALL!

2011-01-05: Met online

2011-07-26 to 2011-08-12: First visit to China (entered the country in Shanghai and traveled on to Wuhan, where the most beautiful woman in the world met me at the airport. We traveled to Jiujiang, Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, and Shanghai.)

2012-02-02 to 2012-02-12: Second visit to China (I spent the first night in Hong Kong and flew to Sanya the next day where I met up with my lady who was flying in from Wuhan. We spent a wonderful week in Sanya.)

2012-02-05: Had "the talk" about our future and she told me she was ready to move to the US (our official engagement date?)

2012-March: We went back and forth on what service/attorney we would use for the K-1 process

2012-April: Decided we would do it ourselves (gulp!). Found VJ and followed the advice.

2012-04-29: I-129F package sealed and submitted to FedEx at office supply store

2012-04-30: I-129F package picked up by FedEx

2012-05-01: FedEx reports package delivered to Lewisville, TX address

Unca Darnell say hullo, la.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

You did it, we started with an attorney, waste of time and money on our K1, did AOS by self, no issues. Welcome.
