Usually faster depending on where it is sent. Ours was approved on a Thursday and arrived in Donetsk on Monday. The "10 days" is the standard answer.

Yes, if you specify that you can pick it up in Kiev at the FedEx office. We did that for our son (K-2 to follow) and it was two days (interview on Wednesday, visa on Friday)

So just another day or two to make it to her home city? I want go to interview, then to her home then wait visa and go USA together. I thought delivery was 2-3 days??

Depends on her home city. Donetsk is one of the big cities in Ukraine. A friend's fiancee in a small village in Crimea waited 8 days for home delivery.

So you tell them in Kiev FedEx, and they will hold it for you? We could get say 5 days later, even if it sits in Fed Ex for 4 days?

thx.

Yes. When you get approved you go to the FedEx window at the consulate and choose where you want the visa delivered. It can be anywhere in Ukraine. OR you can choose to have them hold it at the Kiev office. There is probably some limit as to how long they hold it, but I would think 5 days is no problem. Ask when you go to the FedEx window.

My fiancé lives in Nikolaev do you think that will make a difference? and thank you for the info

Mark

Nikolaev should be 1-2 days from kiev. I have sent express from usa, and typically gets there 1-2 days after clearing customs. But i like the hold at fedex option to pick-up on the way out, if you are flying out of kiev...
