Sorry, but I am not financially responsible for their decisions....and if you got a bill for $10,000 from the hospital in which they have their child, would YOU want to pay it? And while you are considering answering 'yes' just to allegedly show how supportive you want everyone to believe you are, how many such bills have you paid recently? (I'd guess zero).

I don’t think it would be zero, I just sent out a huge tax check few weeks back. So I am sure few ppl must have used my money ……lol

Yes there is a strong possibility that you will be taken to secondary inspection/ screening and/or denied outright. You should be prepared to show insurance covering your trip as well as funds that will pay for the costs of the medical care you would receive.

Belinda63's post is right on the money. If you are admitted it would be almost impossible for you to avoid overstaying since newborn babies have to be cleared by a doctor before travelling on a plane, the baby's passport would have to be applied for etc. These considerations don't even take into account possible complications that may arise during the last month of pregnancy or after delivery.

Based on the phrasing of your question though it seems that regardless of the advice you're given here on VJ you will attempt to have your baby in the US.

You will see another post from the OP in few months oh we were planning to return but had change in situation as kid could not get passport on time and could not fly back….she had to file for AOS.

Post like this should be pinned to the board so when other ppl come asking why their visa are getting rejected…. Here is the reason why the visa / entry are rejected.

Well first things first, why would you even contemplate getting on a plane at that gestation? I know i wouldnt have wanted to when i was pregnant. Plus you will spend considerable time standing in queue's. Nightmare for any pregnant woman!

If the airline even feels comfortable letting you get on the plane (you will probably also need a doctors note to get on)you will likely be returned home. Also, where are you going to put this baby? Do you have everything you need to look after the baby (crib, clothes, 1000 other things babies need!) in the US waiting for you and ready in the UK for when you return? These will be questions you will likely be asked upon entering the US and it will be extremely hard to give them any sort of answer to satisfy them.

I know you want to be with your husband, just as i did when i was in the same situation. But i didnt try to enter a different country to give birth. My husband came to the UK to be with me. Try that one instead, it is most likely to succeed! Then after the baby is born, make your plans to travel or get a visa, whichever you want to do.

As you said you are married to a USC, your baby will have US citizenship one way or another.

Why risk to waste money on a round trip ticket and your baby health to give birth in the US?

I will be very surprised if the CBP let you in. You have every reason to stay in the US and none to return home.

That 8th month pregnancy is very visible and it's like someone walks into a bank with a shotgun and a big bag and say "Hi, I'm just here to use the ATM, I'll walk out in 5 minutes I promise"

Couldn't be any more obvious.

This lady has been long gone, can't believe she was just saying "emergency medicaid" takes care of my labour.

Being married to USC won't give you the right to file spousal visa yourself, your husband has to do it himself. And he hasn't done anything so far so you need to talk to him about what's going on.
