Hi,

We got out NOA1 for the I-485 today in the mail and I have 2 questions:

1. It says amount received: 325$, but we sent 395$ for AOS and biometrics... do they not add that in the letter?

2. Will we also get separate NOA's for EAD and AP? Do they usually come later?

Thanks

Sarah

Yes, you will get separate NOAs for EAD and AP. On my NOA for AOS it said "amount received $395" so, I don't know what is wrong there. Maybe they have changed something. If you hadn't mailed the right amount they would have sent it all back, though.

Good luck and don't worry.

Call them or make an Infopass right away. I guess it is typo, but you are never sure with them! Always run after them, call them, make appointments to verify things!

BUT: INFOPASS! To call them won't help anything. I called several times and was told they corrected our address and the name typo which never never happened until a personal letter to Missouri and 2 Infopass appointments!

Good luck, Anna.

I send two checks for my AOS ($325.00) and Biometrics ($70.00) and my NOA1 says $395.00 on it ....

I also recieved my NOA1 for my EAD on the same day as my AOS ... Although, I can't remember if they came in seperate envelopes ... I would hold off a day just to see if your EAD and AP NOA1s show up ...

Did you send personal checks ?? If so you can always look at the checks from your bank to make sure they cashed all of them ...

I just checked mine (though it's from last year) and it shows the entire amount including the Biometrics fee on it too.

As everybody else said, I would make an Infopass appointment and ask them, just to be on the safe side.

Best of luck! (F)

I had 3 NOA's - for AOS, I-130 and EAD. Separate envelopes, but all came on the same day. They can arrive at different times, though, it happens, but I'm pretty confident that the amount on I-485 should be $395. Like everybody else recommends, get an infopass!

I got my NOA1's about a week ago (or whatever it says in my signature). The amount listed was $395 and I got the NOA1 for the EAD and the AOS the same day. My husband has his biometrics appt. tomorrow. Did you send the $70 biometrics fee as a separate money order or did you send one $395 moneyorder to cover the AOS/Biometrics? If it's separate, maybe they will say they cashed that money order when they give you your biometrics appt.

Thanks for advice everyone.

I bought three money orders before I sent everything: One in the amount of 395$, one for 180$ and one for 170$. I am holding off with the infopass appointment until after today or tomorrow to give the mail a couple of days to come.

If I don't have anything else by Monday I will definitely made the infopass appointment. I still don't get why it says 325$ but I do have the receipts from the money orders in case I need them. I hope it was a typo!

Thanks everyone!

Sarah

If you sent a money order for $395 then it is probably a typo ...
