Hello, nice to meet everyone! I met my husband in 2009 when he came to the US to study English. He's originally from China, but moved to Japan and gained Japanese citizenship when he was young. After a year studying abroad he needed to return to Japan, but knew he wanted to come back to be with me. He applied for F-1 status again and came to study abroad a second time in September 2010. We finally married on February 28th, 2012!

I've been reading the forums here at VisaJourney, and have really appreciated reading everyone's experiences and advice. We're finally getting ready to send in our AOS packet, so I thought I'd join the discussions! Thank you everyone :)
