We started the k-1process on September 1st after almost three years together. We've had our ups and downs like all couples but we have stuck together and have fully commited. On Monday my beautiful and wonderful Elena was hospitalized for DVT in the calf of her leg. DVT is the fancy name for a blood clot. This is a serious condition that can lead to major problems in the lungs and heart, up to and including death in about 20% of the cases. I am so far away right now and it is impossible to be with her. It's driving me nuts! :(

Please include Elena in your prayers we can use the help.

Thank you so much in advance!

John

Oh, I'm so sorry! Will a hug help too? *hug*

My husband's a severe asthmatic. When we were apart, I used to be all over him to get preventive treatment whenever he had the slightest warning of an oncoming chest infection. I feared him being in the hospital and me not being to get to him.....it never happened to us but I think I can relate.

Be as strong as you can. She probably needs that right now...

It does help to know that others are praying for you. :) I thought I felt helpless when I started waiting for this K1 process, but it is nothing compared to the helplessness I feel now. Thanks again to everyone.

We know how hard it is for you to be away from Elena especially in her condition right now. But no matter how frustrating the situation is, just always think God is always there above and He is always looking and taking care of your Elena...Always remember there is nothing impossible with God... Prayers can also make you stronger...So, if you feel weary and weak just talk to Him...You need to be strong for Elena...She needs you know more than anyone else...She depend on the strength and encouragement she will get from you right now so hold on...We know she will overcome this and she will soon be back to her health... Bryan & I will always pray that your Elena will be fine as soon as possible and that you will always be strong... Godbless...
