no packet 4 but an interview date

Hello everybody,

This is the beneficiary and I want to share my experience about my visa interview process. (Ankara does not send packet 3 or 4s but e-mails) We did not get a packet 4 email but when I visited embassy's site I see our case number and interview date. They obviously scheduled us which I am glad about but when I called in the American Hospital in Istanbul to get an appointment they told me the e-mail which the consulate sent me including my case number and interview date was going to be needed. And I was like :S

Is that OK if I show up without having this document? Will I still be eligible for the medical exam?

I know each country runs a different procedure, but still wondering our opinions.

Did you e-mail the embassy and ask them to send you another e-mail with the information?

When the NVC sent your papers to Ankara they send you an email, that is what is called Package 4 (P4) they are 4 pages . The email you will have to bring it to your physical. I suggest you try to go 1 week before for interview.

Did u check what papers are missing? It said it on the letter Good Luck

Sorry I meant that letter was going to be needed for the medical interview... But I have got no packet 4. But oddly enough, I see our case number on Embassy's website. we are scheduled for an interview...

I already made an appointment for my medical, it's one month before my interview. i hope it'll be OK.

you have not received any email confirming you interview date?

1 month I think it is too soon but whatever works for you.

No, I have not received any email at all from the embassy.
