This is just something I have been curious about.

When I filed the I-129F petition I never filled out the part at the end that asks if someone else prepared this for you cause I did it.

For AOS since it's for Hicham and I don't have much to do with it could I have written on the bottom that I prepared the form or is that for a lawyer? Am I included in the petition because I am his wife ?

This is probably a stupid question but I was just wondering if anyone who filled out forms for their fiance/e or wife/husband put that they filled them out.

I don't know if what I wrote even makes any sense.

K I'm done now, sowy.

Sarah

When I filled out my son's AOS forms. I did fill in at the bottom that I prepared the forms.

So if you are filling them out for your husband, I would assume that you would sign your name in that spot. Plus your husband has to sign the forms also.

I made Wes look good. He did SUCH a good job on that paperwork, don't you think?

LOL....no I didn't put my name on as the preparer.

Maybe that's why we're still stuck in namecheck. THEY FOUND OUT!!! omg

It's a rather long poop if you ask me.

Kind of like they took 12 years back-issues of National Geographic to the latrine and locked themselves in.

Wow that is really shitty, I'm sorry. What did your senator say?

ROFLMFAO......

My senator says he has no authority to move the process forward.

I last spoke to his office a week ago. I asked the aide to see if there is any way to AT LEAST learn if everybody has all the proper paperwork in all the right piles - ie FBI not blaming USCIS for not sending the prints or vice versa - or some other such nonsense. She acted like that was a novel way to attack the problem and said she'd get back to me. Haven't heard a word. Not exactly sure what to make of that because they are good about follow up. But the Senate is also in session right now.

I'm off tomorrow and I'm planning on giving her a little jingle.....

Did I post I spoke to an immigration attorney this week who said there's not one damn thing that can be done about this but wait? He even advocates not bugging them too much as things can easily get 'misplaced'.....

I filled some of the forms out and I didn't sign it, I thought it was mostly if someone legal did it or if you didn't speak english and someone translated and filled it out for you.

That' swhat I figured too. I didn't even contemplate signing it until now and it's too late but I'm sure it's not gonna be a problem.

Was working on the second EAD packet today. Need to get it out this week. I'm having psychological problems parting with another $180 to USCIS.

What are they doing? Who knows. It's my opinion he's in AR and they just won't say. Northern Ireland you know. I'd have less of a problem with it if they would just ante-up.

That being said, I'm told the FBI received 3.5 million name check requests from USCIS last year. Which was when we filed. Look at this forums ever-growing namecheck thread and the evidence is simply an enormous backlog.

Wow that is a lot of name checks to do. I guess at least he is already here and you are not waiting for him to come but that still probably doesn't make you feel great about waiting and parting with 180$ again. That is a lot of money. I hope you hear something soon in the form of good news.

Thanks sarah.

I've never wanted to give anybody the impression it's just about the money for the EAD renewal that burns me up.

And yeah him being here.....that's good for sure.

But his life is in a kind of limbo. I feel bad for him. And I'm never really gonna be sure that he's here with me.....for good.....till he has the card.
