Feeling so sad

Like with any of us immigrating and leaving family and friends behind, there is that dreaded worry of losing someone close. I'm feeling so helpless right now, and lonely for my family :( My mom just called to tell me that my aunt (one of my moms sisters) died last night. I am very close to all my family and this has really hit me hard, especially being so far away. Yes Dan is here to comfort me, but it is just not the same as my being able to be there back in australia with my family at this time. I wish I could just get on a plane :( but not as cheap as hopping in a car and driving a couple of hours. Damm this is so sh!tty. I could really do with some prayers and lots of hugs.

I don't ususlly do but I'll give it a shot... :::HUGZ:::

It does suck being so far from home.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

(((((((((HUGS)))))))), Lorelle! (F)

So sorry to hear about your aunt. I know this is a very difficult time for you. I've been thinking a lot about this very thing lately, I think it's the #1 drawback of international relationships, not always being able to be there for all of the other people that we love.

Take care of yourself. (L)

Awwww Lorelle...thinking of you and sending LOTS of prayers and hugs your way. This process can be both trying and exhilarating, but when something like this happens, that's when the worst of it kicks in. Been thinking of you anyway...take care, and know that WE care... (F) M.

I am sorry Lorelle. :( I can relate to that feeling. I felt that when I was living in US as student back when I was 16, and I know I'll have feelings like those in a few months when I'm with my husband. We have to keep strong and know that our families know we're with them, even if not physically.

Condolences and will say a prayer for you Lorelle.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.
