We had a K1 interview lastyear july was denied base onn the CO felt we already married bcos I answered the bride pride was paid onn the engagement ceremony.so he said he felt that is marriage that we should and file for CR1.M̶̲̥̅♈ hubby came to nigeria the nextmonth and we got married legally.we also have a son has I already register him abroad and he has a passport now.M̶̲̥̅♈ question,can the reason for M̶̲̥̅♈ k1 denial affect M̶̲̥̅♈ CR1 visa i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ anyway. this affect M̶̲̥̅♈ CR1

The logical answer is no. But you are dealing with Lagos. There was another case this week where someone was denied because they filed a K1 when they were actually married and then filed the CR1 and got hit by a misrespresentation at the CR1 interview from the failed K1 ( which means they need a 601 waiver) I have never seen this at Lagos, but it would be possible. What codes did they write on your rejection for the K1 and what reason did they state ? If they rejected you for being married on paper then you might want to study the 601 filing. The other case wasn't Lagos.
