Hello everyone, new to the forums. I received an email tonight from the NVC saying i have not yet payed the IV bill and needed to pay before they can move to the next phase. I have not yet been invoiced for the IV bill nor have i received anything via snail mail concerning paying the bill. I have already paid the AOS bill online and have sent in my AOS and supporting documents to the NVC. Any clarification on why i would not have been invoiced yet would be greatly appreciated.

You could try logging in and seeing if you can pay it. The invoice number is the same for the AOS and IV bill. As for the extra notices, I've received several too. The first two were before the bill became available, the last one was this morning when I already paid on the 17th. Perhaps they're having some trouble with the system after the price changes?

Sept 9, 2011: NOA1

March 16, 2012: NOA2

April 10, 2012: NVC Case Number Assigned, AOS Invoice Received

April 11, 2012: OPTIN for EP with DS-3032 sent, AOS bill paid

April 12, 2012: AOS Package Sent

April 17, 2012: IV Bill invoiced, paid

April 19, 2012: IV package sent

April 20, 2012: Checklist for AOS asking for letter of employment, response sent

April 23, 2012: Letter approving DS-230, False checklist for AOS checklist

May 1, 2012: Appointment Letter Received (for May 23rd)

May 22, 2012: Interview canceled pending further medical tests

July 15, 2012: New Appointment letter Received

August 1, 2012: Interview, Approved

Thanks for the reply. I tried logging in to pay it but there is nothing there to pay. Yeah i am hoping the system is just behind and the invoice will show up within the next few days.

You don't need the invoice. If you use the AOS fee invoice to login, you'll see the IV fee. It will either say, not invoiced or not paid. If it says not paid, then check the box and pay it. Otherwise, just keep checking back. If it takes more than a couple days, call NVC and ask them to email you the invoice.

I had the same thing happen to me. I called the NVC and they said that the email that I had received was an automated email that contained that email. I received the actual IV documents with the invoice number a day or two later. I wasn't able to pay my fees for another day or two because the fees didn't show up on the site, possibly because of the fee change from $404 to $230.

The fee changed from $404 total to $304 total.

I only paid $230. When and where do I pay the additional $74?

I don't know. Perhaps they did away with that fee or made an error when they changed the amounts. Anybody logged in this week?

Apparently, they've removed the surcharge, so it's only $230 now.
