You already know the answer.

If you want to save $70 with the possibility of your package being lost by Philippines Post, that's your call.

Maybe things have changed since when I filled out the I-129F and accompanying documents three years ago, but I never understood why people are mailing stuff to foreign countries to begin with. I never mailed anything down to Peru during the process. I filled out the forms on my computer, my wife (then fiancee) printed them out from her email, signed them, and then mailed them to me so that I could sign them and send them to USCIS from the United States. What is it about the process that now requires you to actually mail a bunch of stuff overseas? Pardon my ignorance about this.

If you ask, the overwhelming majority would tell you not to even think about sending important documents via USPS to the Philippines.

If those docs never arrive, you'll be pissed, then surely the second time you'll use FedEx, so you'll actually spend $130 ($100-FedEx + $30 USPS) instead of the $100 it would have cost the 1st time to send the docs. Now you're negative $30.00 + your time and effort. How much is piece of mind worth to you?

Definitely UPS or FedEX! I don't think you need to send the whole 129F packet to her.

I myself is getting ready to send my Fiance the needed doc for interview and I'm only sending her the signed I-134, and new letter of intent. The rest like, employment letter, bank letter, pay stubs, IRS 1040, transcript BC, etc..I just scanned them and she is going to print them out.

The CO already has all the paperworks from your initial filling so I don't think they will ask again. Well maybe recent photos and call, chat, email logs.. but she can also print these out as well.

The copy of the I129-F sent to beneficiary for interview is for the benefit of the beneficiary. The CO has the petition packet. To me, the rationale is being prepared. The CO is going to ask questions based on what you submit and maybe then some. What happens when your significant other is asked a particular question about, say, an email or photograph that you included in evidence and doesn't have a copy of his/her own? She/he will be lost. One way or another, the beneficiary needs to know what is in the packet that the CO is looking at as your beloved is being grilled. As far as your other documents go, I wouldn't send a photocopy of employment letter and tax forms. Not sure how it goes at that stage yet. My understanding was they wanted original evidence to support the income requirement. I could be wrong, but I am not risking it either way. Transcripts are cheap. Original employer signatures make sense too.

thanks a lot for everyone's guidances....

I am not sure which service I will use yet. However, I am sending the petition along with everything else needed. I don't think being prepared can be overstated in these circumstances. Sure, it is expensive, but that is what it takes to avoid unnecessary risks. There is a reason it is suggested in the guides. The beneficiary needs to know as much about the petition as the petitioner does.

:thumbs:One can never be too prepared - the beneficiary should be as familiar with the I-129F petition and all other documents as the petitioner.

Look into scanning and sending it through email and printing it out. Depends on how secure it is. Otherwise DHL seems to be around 50 dollars(worldwide express with online discount).

Later on at the time of interview, you'll need specific documents with original signatures. If you don't visit your fiancee before the interview, then indeed make sure those papers won't get lost in mail. It's a small price if it comes down to the papers not arriving and having to spend extra on visa fee because of rescheduling the interview.
