how often do u check your email and USCIS web to check ur status??

We are at 4 months on the 2nd of April but my status hasn't been touched or anything it stills says that last time it was even looked at was on the 9th of Dec. I check it about every other day, I'm getting tired of not knowing whats going on. What really going to me off is if we get a RFE after waiting all this time. The only thing so far is that the visa fee will be lower by the time we have to pay for it because starts on the 13th of April this Friday and it takes at least a week for them next person to get anything so i hope we hear something by Friday????????

Didn't bother checking at all up until the 5 month mark. Maybe checked a few times here and there in between, nothing serious.

After the 5 month mark I was checking daily at least once.

After the 6 month mark I was completely obsessed with it. Checking several times daily and being disappointed every time.

Then, late one night (this was around the 6.5 month mark), checked the status and suddenly saw it was approved. Blinked a few times and refreshed the page because I couldn't believe my eyes at first.

I never got text or e-mail (yes I had signed up for both). So, I'm kind of like the opposite of all of you. I found out through the website and never received any text or e-mail. The NOA2 hard-copy came in the mail a week later.

I have been checking everyday it seems like forever now. I have a receipt number but no case number. Are they the same thing?

yeah me too...the email said to wait until i received my packet before trying to check status do you think they have to upload the case id#?

I check USCIS and it says cannot be found. I tried to sign up for email case status, cannot be found. When i call them, they can't find it either, so i automatically get transferred to tier II person, which is the only good thing. The tier II person says the computer system does not work, they can see my case, and i just have to wait.

And here, I thought I was the only obsessive-compulsive out there. I checked it constantly....about 15 times a day. My fiance was also checking it that often. Now I am trying NOT to call NVC every single day because I know that it's not going to speed anything up.

I check it ALL the time. However, it hasn't changed in 4 months.

hehe I thought I was the only one that checks constantly. I check about 5 to 10 times per day, as soon as I wake up and the last thing I do before I go to bed. I'm exited about it and can't wait for us to get the NOA2.

okay so i must be insane because i check my husband status at least 3 times a day. breakfast,lunch and dinner now include a quick status check via my phone,tablet or nearest computer i can get my hands on. it drives me crazy not knowing and i guess checking everyday doesnt help but i feel werid if i dont. haha. i think most days i check it more than i check my facebook and twitter.

When we initially sent in our petition, we didnt start checking anything until about 3.5 months into it for our own sanity. Then when it hit 4 months we were checking daily. Then 4.5 months we were checking 2-3 times a day lol It was crazy.

We got out email/text in the middle of the night on a Thursday when I was asleep (12:45am) and USC got his text (10:45pm)

Sweet Lord are you two the most patient people ever. you waited 3.5 months goodness. I check EVERY day. While I am looking for a job I am on that email. Have email alerts on phone. Don't trust their email or text since I never got it for the NOA1. So I figure to keep me sane I must check or I will go crazy.

damn this friday will be friday the 13th i didn't even notice until u mention it lol i hope it will be a goodluck even they say that day is badluck.
