Hey everyone, so we're going to apply for our marriage license today.

I downloaded the application form and I was hoping someone could have a look at it and answer a few questions...

In the city, county and country of residence questions, I put Ireland, right!?

And, for the social security part... I don't have one yet. The immigration officer told me to wait a week or 2 to get one. BUT, it does say 'Or Alien Immigration number'. Now, I have an I-94 stapled into my passport which has an 'Admission Number'... it has 11 digits. Is that my 'A Number'... visajourney refers to? Is that the number they want on the marriage license form??

Here it is:

Thanks!

We just called and they said they would use my Passport number in place of a Social Security number.

Suppose, we're good to go!

Use your Florida address. We actually went to Osceola as well...Victor didn't have his SS# yet so I think we did put the number on his I-94, but the lady at the window actually helped us fill those last couple of things out (we had the forms mostly filled out before arriving). There was nobody there when we went (I think we went on a Tuesday though). Good Luck!

Yes, your alien number remains the same. But if you are in the US on H1B and working I'm sure you have a SSN?
