hi emina its just one month as i m in ap butt i ca,nt wait any more u and me have on thing very samilar that we r dying for our loved ones i miss my wife very much even i ca,nt sleep at night we talk with each other about four to five hours in a day inspite of that time is not running out have u any sujection regarding that matter thanks

What was the DoD's involvement with yer casefile?

All I can suggest is prayer and patience ... sadly that's all that can be done besides getting your senator/congressman involved to make inquiries but they can't make it finish...just inquire as to what's happening...

that's cool !

What was the DoD's involvement with yer casefile?

Darnell he is in the military... so he contacted department of defense family affairs and they intervened on his behalf..he's been in the hospital for quite some time

Hello Everyone,

I am glad to have found this forum. My wife had her first interview on 12/22/2011 where they asked for additional document to show proof of marriage. After they received the documents they called and scheduled another interview for 2/13/2011. After this interview they asked for us to show proof that i was in Pakistan when the marriage took place. I went ahead and sent them my passport with entry and exit stamps along with my flight itinerary. They kept all of the original documents along with her passport. I called they DOS last week and they said that my wife's file was opened March 6, 2012, and currently being processed. This is the same thing they tell us every time we call. Can anyone tell me how long it will take or what is going on?

AP doesn't have a time frame and nobody can tell you exactly what they are doing its always case specific... you can go to this thread and see for yourself a lot of us are in AP some over a year and others less than but nobody gets their visa at the same time.. hopefully because it's your wife and not you receiving the visa then it won't take too much time.
