Hello everyone!

There are a few of us Australians waiting on Sydney for our interview dates,"Go slow" appears to be there motto at present, either that or they are super busy with loads to do.

Either way, this waiting when the interview date is so close at hand is stressful to say the least.

I keep telling myself that we are nearing the end, not too long now, evenso there is a sense of so close and yet so far.

Not complaining, just saying!

Hang in there all you fellow Aussies, imagine the joy and relief when we get our interview dates. :dancing: How happy we all will be. :D

Hot in Arizona? um yeah some part of northern CA can be very cold in summer, like San Francisco city, man it was only max 18 degrees C last summer I was there. i only wore my dress twice from July - Oct hehe....

My case closed was 15 March and I'm waiting for a date as well. I have given up calling the NVC - the answer is the same "we will email you the interview appointment details....". SYD must be very busy.

lol, hot is an under statement! it's in thirties with killer sun everyday already. Even winter wasn't cold. Summer will be awful 110-120F basically everyday with not even cool nights :/ Northern CA sounds nice though, that's my type of summer, much better knitting weather, lol

Did y'all get your interview dates yet? If so, how long did you have to wait for it? If not, how long have you been waiting? I'm just curious, I sent our DS-230 to NVC today; trying to guestimate how much longer this journey will be. Thanks! :)

It used to be (if you look at other Aussie's timelines from 2009 to early 2011) they usually waited a few days from when the consulate received Pkt 3, until they got Pkt 4. But from when they receive Pkt 4 to interview date is usually 3-4 weeks.

Now with ours so delayed I think the gap between us receiving Pkt 4 til interview is just one week, I hope!

Flanders5689: You submitted your Pkt 3 at end of March, til now is only more than 10 days, not 5 weeks.
