Albania - K3 Direct Consular filing

Recommended Posts

I am an American who met my husband while traveling overseas. He is an Albanian. We married in Albania this summer. We filed the I-130 at the US embassy in Tirana, Albania on July 5, 2006. The day I petitioned I was (verbally) told that the petition was "approved". I asked if I get anything, the lady simply told me that I don't get anything now, my husband will receive a packet in the mail explaining the next step. Well, here we are in October (3 months later) and we have heard nothing. We do not even have a case number to follow up on. NOBODY seems to have answers. Can anybody PLEASE help. I am so upset and frustrated and miss my husband, my soulmate, my world TOOOO much!
