why do you want to share our technological advantage with russia?

Not sure what you mean about "share our tech advantage"..... I just think we have no business in that part of the world providing security for europe.

We set up Bases and military training all round russia then wonder why they don't want to be "our friend" and go along with our resolutions at the UN.

We are the ones with hundreds of military installations all over the world, we are the ones constantly at war, we are the ones moving NATO into their satellite countries.

We are the ones sending our dollars to influence elections over there......

And "they" need to be contained by our missile programs?

I believe the other NATO countries should be chipping in way more instead of being greedy. Europe is in two factions on this. Western Europe has sold their soul to the Russians for oil and gas. Eastern Europe on the other hand knows Russia all too well. If you want to deal with Russia, then you do it by force, not by negotiating. Russians don't like a week country, and they don't respect one either. You put a boot on the back of the Kremlin's neck and you get somewhere, otherwise your just p*ssing in the wind.

The only thing that keeps Russia at bay atm is nukes...and that didn't even do the trick for Georgia seeing how Georgia doesn't have NATO protection. Russia is run by a bunch of KGB thugs who have the class and thought process of a mafia hit man. If you think otherwise then please feel free to read up on some history and current affairs in regards to Russia.
