Wedding Photos Requirement for K1

Hiya, I had a question in regards to the actual wedding ceremony; the lovely and I are planning to have a wedding with no more than 10 to 15 people until we have money/time enough to do a proper wedding at the end of the year when we'll have more people. Can the USCIS object to the limited number of people in the wedding photos at the adjustment of status interview? I've just arrived in the US and am planning on applying for a ssn in a couple weeks so we can open a joint account at the bank, get a gym membership, etc.

Help is much appreciated, cheers!

I really don't think it will be an issue. I am sure that they understand that not everyone can afford (or wants) to have a showy wedding with lots of people. We had one guest at ours - my husband's daughter.

most people who come here on a k-1 visa have a small wedding - mostly because of the time constraint, and then have a big one later down the road. Nobody will tell you how many people you should have at your wedding. it could be just the two of you and it would be fine. good luck and i hope you will have a wonderful wedding!

Don't worry about having only a couple of people at your wedding - but make sure all of your other docs are correct, organized and easy to pull out in an interview.

Good luck. :)
