New member here. Just express mailed I-129f to Lewisville. Confirmed delivery from FedEx. I guess now it begins!

Divorced after 20+ year marriage decided to look for an Eastern European woman having had some experience abroad while serving in the Army. Met Irina, a Doctor (ob/gyn) from Odessa and the rest is history! Working on medical residency possibilities for her here if she can pass step1 and step2 exams.

Nov.14, 2010 - Met online started correspondence

June 23, 2011- First visit to Ukraine stayed 6 days

Sept 09, 2011- Second visit - 13 days

Dec. 28, 2011- Third visit- New Years engaged

Mar. 27, 2012- Express Mailed I-129F to Lewisville

Mar. 30, 2012- Delivery Confirmation from FedEx

Apr. 04, 2012- Fourth visit planned, staying 8 days

I am all ears fellow members. Hoping this goes smoothly. I had a crazy start. At one time the USCIS center in St. Albans Vermont accepted applications. So I went there not knowing. Once informed by a very helpful agent he offered to take a look at my I-129 submission for me! I learned after mailing it to Lewisville it will.come.right back to Vermont to be adjudicated and he had expedience doing k1s. He found an issue which I resolved and sent it in. He said I included overwhelming evidence of an ongoing relationship so I am hopeful this will process without issue.

Tomorrow will be two weeks and I havent received a receipt number or anythin. I called USCIS and they said give it more time but I read that thats what they tell everyone because they cant answer specific questions. I am starting to get annoyed because everyone else is getting answers.

You note in your profile and on your timeline that you filed the petition at the Texas Service Center. Is that where you mailed the petition? Or, did you mail it to the Dallas Lockbox (different place from the TSC) and just need to update your VJ information? (Note: The Dallas Lockbox is the correct place to mail the I-129F and supporting materials.)
