AOS fee does not include I-131 & I-765??

Hello all,

I just read a post from another member who said that her I-131 & I-765 were returned because she did not include the extra fees for each form. According to her, the USCIS said that the $1070 no longer covers the processing of these additional forms and that other members have said the same. I've looked everywhere here on VJ, Google and the USCIS site itself and I can't find any information regarding this "change". Has anyone experienced this after filing for AOS? Is this a new thing? And if so, where can I find more info?

Thanks in advance!

Diana

She is mistaken. $1070 covers it all. Perhaps she put the wrongs codes to get it for free (C9 for the EAD) etc.

ROC:

1070 is the correct amount, where is the post?

It's in Spanish in the Mexico, Latin & South America forum. But that makes complete sense, if she didn't put the right information on the forms, then it's possible that they asked her to send the additional fees to process them.

Thanks again!!

Did they send the I-131 by itself/separately? They have to send a copy of the I-485 NOA1 for it to be free. Something is missing there in what they did. Not sure what though, as I can't totally understand what they are saying. Hope that helps.
