Can u apply for emergency visa if your case CR1 is going thru AP . In my case I have been admitted to the hospital since 27 Jan 2012 and presence of spouse is needed. Should my request her passport back or just ask the embassy for new interview date? Any help with be appreciated.

In my Hospital wont discharge unless there is someone in house to take care of me or I get better. BTW I am missing home :( sitting at hospital bed

Contact your Consulate to inform of your situation and try requesting expedite. I hope everything works out. I agree with the post above, get your congressman involved as well.

Wish you a quick recovery and hope you reunite with your family soon!
