If we got married while basically on vacation in another country, will we be able to proof bonafide marriage? Will marriage certificate, joint bank account, one residence abroad, plus a bunch of peripheral documentation like Skype exchanges, gift receipts, photos together, airline tickets etc., be enough to establish bonafide marriage?

Thanks!

This is the case when we can say "as more... as better!". But what matters for the USCIS is not "quantity", but "quality". You must keep on "going with your comunicating" while waiting for the interview and try a visit from your spouse to know your family and have pictures with them.

Don't worry about what you cannot do, but work hard about what you can".

Good luck ;)

Hello,

You're not trying to prove a bonifide marriage, you're trying to prove bonifide relationship. If they only cared about you being married, then the marriage certificate would be all you need. They're more concerned with are you having a real relationship; i.e how many times have you seen this person? do you have proof that you've met? For my I-130, I sent:

-8 photos(1 with her father, 1 with her mother, 2 from our wedding, 2 with her daughter, and 2 of us out and about.

-copies of passport stamps proving my entry into her country and leaving.

-marriage certificate.

-2 affidavitts from witnesses to our marriage.

Good luck.

Matt

P.S, i also got married out of the country and none of my family members could make it.

Thank you for the response. Just curious, since none of your family members could make it, who did you pick as witnesses?
