I am very pleased to report that I am one very employed immigrant!

The President of the company travelled the 2 hours to be at the office so she could offer it to me...which leads me to believe that the phone interview on Wednesday made the decision for her.

I'm exhausted but very very happy. I went shopping to celebrate! And I think they're as excited to have me as I am to have them.

THANK YOU all SO much for your positive vibes, mojo and help. You rock! :)

Oh CERISE!!!! I just saw this...I'm SOOOOOOO pleased for you!!!!! Details, details...what will you be doing??

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone! I'm still feeling really overwhelmed at it all happening so quickly. Good overwhelmed, of course. :D

The job is as a project coordinator providing support for a group of project managers who specialize in aspects of the wireless communications industry. There are also some basic IT/technical support and office manager type of duties, as well as proposal writing. It's a small but growing company with this office being the largest. It's a 45 minute drive from home and 15 minutes from CAPS' work.

The hours are flexible, salaried position. Full medical/dental/prescriptions for me, partial for dependents; performance bonuses based on corporate and personal performance; education assistance; 401K after a year.

I start Monday morning at 8.

So now I'm in the process of making lists of things that need doing before then. LOL

BTW, why are you up so early on a Saturday morning???

Because I'm a lil stress monkey. I couldn't settle down last night, and woke up at 4:30 and couldn't get back to sleep. Bleh.

That's fantastic!!!

We knew you'd find something better

I'm pretty happy.

And I'm glad you knew...I was pretty skeptical. ;)

Thanks again everyone! Your mojo rocks! :D
