Hello folks, this is amazing.

My Wife came here on a k1 visa in last may. We got married on june 16. Here is my timeline.

DO is , Atlanta,Ga

Filed form 1-129f July 2005

Approved october 27th-2005

Embassy visa interview in lagos,Nigeria march-2006

Visa approved and she came to the U.s in may 2006

We got married on june 16th

Sent 1-485/1-765/ on july 12-2006

Received Notice date on july 18th-2006

Fingerprint Notice recieved on July-25-2006

Code 3 biometric fingerprint and picture done 8-8-2006

EAD email approval on 9-22-2006

EAD Received on 9-29-2006

Today 10-5-2006 i received the following email,

Receipt Number: MSCxxxxxxx

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On October 5, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

If i knew , i would not waste $170.00 on EAD

But we thank God regardless.

All these took less than 4months folks!! No interview.

I told my wife to rejoice because when i came to America about 13yrs ago, i took me about 3yrs to get a greencard.

We almost have the same timeline... :)

I just got my GC after entering the states in May 2006 on K1 visa.

Married in June... only that I send out the package in August...

No interview too... (F)

Im just glad this process is over... ( almost.....)

need to remove condition in 2 years..

7th December 2005.......NOA1 (days 8)

6th March 2006.............NOA2 (days 97)

16th May 2006..............Interview date (Approved!) (days 168)

24th May 2006..............US POE (days 176)

2nd June 2006..............Marriage! (days 185)

1st August 2006.............Filed AOS (day 1)

8th August 2006.............NOA (days 7)

21st August 2006............RFE (days 20)

22nd August 2006...........Biometrics Appointment (days 21)

8th September 2006........Case transfered to CSC! (days 38)

28th September 2006......AOS approved! (days 58)

30th September 2006......Welcome letter Received! (days 60)

2nd October 2006............Green Card arrives!!!! (days 62)

6th January 2007.............Relegious Ceremony in Malaysia

16th August 2008.............Filed I-751 Removing condition (day 1)

18th August 2008.............NOA and Check Cashed(day 3)

9th September 2008.............Biometrics(day 25)

12th December 2008...........Approved.Card production ordered (day 119)

19th December 2008...........Green Card arrives!!!!No mistake!(day 126)

NO MORE USCIS FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS!

Congratulations :thumbs: Did you get transferred to CSC for processing? It seems that CSC is issuing cards without interviews. My wife received her's without an interview.
