Filing taxes after leaving the US

I moved to the US in 2007, on a fiancee visa. Unfortunately in 2010 we divorced. In May 2011 I left the US to move back home to the UK. I gave up my permanent resident status when I moved back.

I have to file taxes for the part of the year I was resident in the US. Does anyone have any advice on the best way for me to do this? I worked from January to April in the US, and then from June onwards in the UK.

Can efile in this situation or do I need to complete paper forms and send them in? I've only ever efiled in the past so I'm a bit nervous. I can't seem to find any software that can deal with the part residency situation.

Thanks so much for any help you can offer. I understand that taxes are complicated and I should probably consult an accountant. I just thought I'd see if anyone else has been in this situation, or can point me in the right direction.
