Hi Everyone!

We're Approved :dance: :dance: :dance: ...I just got the email/text and the site shows update as well.

I shaking all over but I had to share our great news...He's at work right now but is leaving as I write!

First thanks to Almighty God...and second to all of you guys who helped me along the way...I'm shaking all over right now. I can't believe how fast it has happened.

That was super fast!!!! I'm so happy for you guys! that brings a glimpse of hope for most of us waiting or like me, about to file my k1 visa soon. i was wondering if you have done anything different. did you send few pictures or documents? instead of tons???

[*] 15 May 2013 - Moved from MN to LA; [*] 17 May 2013 - Applied for a new SS card/filed an AR-11 online (unsuccessfully), therefore called and spoke to a Tier 2 and changed the address; [*] 22 May 2013 - Address updated on My Case Status (finally can see the case numbers online); [*] 28 May 2013 - Letter received in the mail confirming the change of address; [*] 31 July 2013 - Went to Romania; [*] 12 September 2013 - returned to the US using the AP, POE Houston, everything went smoothly; [*] 20 September 2013 - Spoke to a Tier2 and put in a service request; [*] 23 September 2013 - Got "Possible Interview Waiver" letter (originally sent on August, 29th to my old address, returned and re-routed to my current address); [*] 1 October 2013 - Started a new job.

• Nov 14, 2011 - I-129F packet sent.

• Nov 15, 2011 - Packet received and signed by (J. Authur)

• Nov 18, 2011 - NOA1 (Notice by text message and Email)

• Mar 02, 2012 - NOA2 (Notice by text message and Email) [Took 105 days]

• Mar 07, 2012 - NOA2 Hard copy arrived by mail.

• Mar 19, 2012 - NVC recieved my case.

• Mar 20, 2012 - NVC fowarded my case to US embassy in DR.

• April 05, 2012 - DOS gave us our interview date. (May 14th)

Hi,

for the original, I just sent in what VJ guidlines said to send. We Got an RFE for me not answering question re: criminal history(totally missed that since it's under military service), two more original letters of intent(still don't know what was wrong with first two we sent) signed in blue ink and dated Feb 10, 2012, airline tickets receipts with day, month, and year, and my passport stamps. I sent 2 more pics(not film-dated). Also they requested and I sent fiance's passport(all pages with bio/pic page translated). I sent them credit card statements, bank statements, my passport stamps blown up(highlighted, in color, with sticky notes). All was sent with a cover letter explaining what was sent.

Our petition wasn't expedited, I'm not in the military . I'm just as surprised as everyone else! But I had already gotten employer letter, tax returns, etc for I-134. That is set and we are ready to go!

If not for the RFE(which I think they do just to stall), we would have been approved in about 2 weeks! But it's all good now....Praise God!

Hi Guys,

I don't know what I did differently from anyone else...truly I don't. Maybe, the person who looked at my petition noticed my deceased mom's birthday was on 02/29 and they wanted to give me some good news on that day. I don't know but whatever I thank them but mostly God! But from the beginning I felt it was gonna happen and happen quick(don't know why but just felt it).

Once again, we want to thank all of you guys for answering my questions(I'm so ####### and over think everything) and supporting me. We couldn't have done this without you. My boo put his faith in me and I put my faith in God and the generous people here on VJ...there really aren't any words!

I couldn't sleep at all last night...you would think I would...but now there is still much to do!
