Visa in hand!!!!!!

Hi there!!!

Guess what, Im holding my visa in my hands!!!! :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I was kinda worried after the approval at the interview cause the officer forgot to make me sign DS-156 and I completly forgot to ask him about it too.

Im glad that I did ask the officer if I can pick up the visa in person as I work really close to the consulate. (normally they mail it) He agreed and gave me a paper with the pickup date 10/04/06. I went there this morning and I was in there for another 3,5 hours. I had to sign DS-156 and then I got my visa....Im so happy. Now Im really ready to go! :dance::dance::dance:

I thank you again for your great support and I wish everybody waiting all the best and good luck on their visa journey!

My flight is next friday and I cant wait...after such a long time of waiting, disappointment, stress and over all being apart and missing eachother it will be like heaven! :star::star::star:

Woohoo! Happy for ya :) My fiance had his interview in frankfurt on aug 30th and the consul also forgot to have him sign the ds-156 - too weird. i wonder if it was the same guy! they ended up mailing it to him and he signed it not in front of the officer and mailed it back, but im glad it all worked out for you!!!

I dont know about this officer, but he really seems to be a little forgetful...but as long as everything is working out good at the end....Im just happy! And it is kinda nice to see that the officer is just a human being who can forget improtant things like everybody else.... :lol:
