i will have mine this week.. need to get back to makati city hall to get it coz it took 1 week to process that cenomar in nso. I asked the employee and he mentioned that is valid for 3 months only. he even asked me where will i used it so i told him for usem manila. so he said they are very strict so u have to make sure that like cenomar should be valid or else u have to get another one.

aw! it means i have to get new 1 again :( its expensive!

No, wait for the interview. Some IO's have recently been requesting the birth certificate and certificate of no marriage be sent directly from the NSO to the Embassy after the interview. It appears some folks tried to pass some fairly good forged documents recently.

I got my CENOMAR December 2011, if i have my K1 interview by April is it still valid for US Embassy?

Its Funny my fiancee and I was talking about that just awhile ago.She just got hers yesterday, and it was an udated one since the one she had, had an expiration date on it.She went and got a new one and i asked her if there was a date on it and she told me until August 2012. so it seems 6 mths. but i was told also by USEM that CENOMAR has no validity like previous poster said. But we didnt take the chance and got new one. So you got it in December and your Interview is April? You ok!

I would say renew your cenomar when its close to your interview like 3 weeks close or so,a friend of mine she has an interview with 3 months old cenomar, consular asked her to renew her cenomar b4 she the visa,Co has different brain, and knowledge, every case is unique, some of the applicant, never asked to renew, but some CO want to make sure that u didn't get married b4 u fly to US,so to have peace of mind, renew it like I said 3 weeks b4 your intrview,I know its expensive, but better well prepared than wait and sorry, good luck
