AOS and EAD after One year and three months?

Hi! I got a question to the AOS experts here. Thing is my husband got here in Puerto Rico with a K1 visa in May 16 2005, and we got the legal wedding in June 13 the same year, less than a month later. However, about a month later I lost my job, and been fighting like crazy to get a new one for a good whole year. About 2 months ago, I finally got another job and my employer was kind enough to give me an employement letter (which is vital to make the I-864). So, my question is, since we are starting the AOS and the EAD this month, after over an year on hiatus, do you think it`s dangerous to start the process again so late? Are there any risks regarding approval of AOS and EAD? Thanks!

I have read a few cases where k1's have filed with a similar time scale from marriage to filing AOS and there doesn't seem to be. The crucial thing being that you were married within the 90 day window.

I have read people quote the rules saying that the AOS is meant to be filed within 90 days as well, but no one has actually detailed a case where not doins so has resulted in problems.

Anyway, presumably you need to file and I wish you luck with this :)
