Maybe it is a culture thing. I grew up feeding farm hands so I am not a weight watchers serving type of person but my husband likes to use mixing bowls as personal bowls. We go out to eat and unless it is all you can eat he fusses about the tiny servings.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

I see where your ol man is coming from. I use a mixing bowl for a cereal bowl and those all you can eat joints are always at the top of my list.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

You could always cook and eat and clean up when she's not there, or when she's sleeping.

What are your thoughts?

And what about other women's work she doesn't do? He has to do that when she is not there also? Where does this end Darnell?

Sounds like an obsessive-compulsive personality disorder (OCPD) symptom. Look into that. I was married previously to a similar type.

"Previously" being the key word here.

Oh, I'm thinking it ends about 3 seconds after they sit down and have a meaningful conversation about all of this. I'm guessing (right or wrong) they've not done that, yet.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Iv'e posted about this before but they used to sell shirts up here and they listed 10 ways to romance a woman and then it listed 1-10 starting with bring roses and candy, compliment her hair, eyes, etc... and went on down the list. Then underneath that it had ways to romance a man and it listed only two things; 1) show up naked, 2) bring food.

Item 2 is optional

My wife is so stingy that is bothers me so much. We are at the table and the servings she makes are super small.she is not calorie conscious.i have told her many times to make enough food so that the person at the table wants another serving they can get it.she never understands that.she hoards food and saves everything to be eaten later.you only get one serving, period.it offends me really.i have told her about this so many times but she repeats the same thing over and over.she buys something special from the store and tell me i will put this away for now. we can use it at such and such occassion.i have never seen anybody like this before.please heklp.

My wife is always shoving food my way and makes sure there's plenty to eat. I'm a big boy and my wife's a beanpole.lol

Sounds like my husband. He uses those for cereal too. He can eat like half a box of Cheerios easy, and he's like 150 lbs. soaking wet.

I do the vast majority of the cooking but I have to say, my husband has mastered the art of making egg sandwiches. What can I say, I get spoiled on Saturday mornings.

That's not good. Like others have said, maybe seek counseling.

Aha, S-Bone! I knew that you were a typical gringa. The very sage advice of Mrs. T-B.'s grandma, in Quito, rings in my brain. After she heard that I was a good dude, she told Mrs. T-B., "Serve him! Serve him well!"

(Perhaps in anticipation of becoming a gringa through naturalization, Mrs. T-B. didn't listen to Grandma much, no man. :( By the way, I tripped over the rag-on-a-stick while coming into the house yesterday, uff man.)

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Well my mother-in-law always tells the hubs to be nice to me, 'specially cause I'm pregnant. :star: After running around like a lunatic all week, working, cleaning, cooking, taking care of the kids, bribing them to do their homework, scrubbing marker off the floor with magic eraser (thanks to the baby), the least hubs could do is make me an egg sammich & coffee on Saturday. Besides, he's kinda proud of himself that he makes something I'll actually eat.

You still haven't gotten rid of the rag-on-a-stick?
