Hi everybody.. My brother and sister in law have graciously agreed to be a co-sponsor for my fiance on the I-846 that I will send along with all other required information for his interview in Casablanca. My question(s) are... My sister-in-law at this moment is the only income for their family. They meet the financial requirements by just her working and so what im wondering is where does my brother come into play here because they have filed taxes jointly since they've been married its just he has no income now. I researched a little and found a form called I-846A which is a contract between a sponsor and household member..would this be what he would sign eventhough he doesnt currently have income? Also, my brother is the guardian of one of my other brothers who suffers from a mental illness and because he lives in the house and recieves a very small amount of SSI, do they have to note his SSI earnings on the form, I dont see a place for it and if its not necessary would rather not put it down. The wording on these forms can be tricky at times and im just making sure i have all my ducks in a row here. Thank you for any valuable information you can help me with.
