Calling the London Embassy is Pants!

What's the point if all there going to give you is the offical it can take 3-6 weeks before your case will appear on the computer!

How are you meant to know they recieved your packet 3 back etc? I called the 09042450100 number is that the right one to call?

The reason i called is cuz yesterday my husband called the DOS and was told that they recieved the case, i had cleared the checks but he called back today and spoke to someone else and was told that they have no showing that my packet 3 was recived #######! So i had to call the embassy to get there take and now im no better off.

The woman told Chris today that the person he spoke to yesterday was proberly meaning they got my case from the NVC.

Now im left wondering if they got my packet 3 even though it was signed for!

I-130 Process

NOA2 Approval recieved in the mail - 08/09/06

I-129F Process - With new form!

NOA2 arrived in mail - 08/26/06

NVC For I-129F

Arrived at NVC and Case # assigned - 08/28/06

Case Sent to London - 08/31/06

Packet 3 arrived - 09/13/06

Packet 3 Sent - 09-14-06

Medical - 09-21-06

Recieved Police Certificate - 10-03-06 (Took 34 days)

Packet 4 arrived - 10-04-06

INTERVIEW - 10-18-06 -APPROVED!

POE - Boston - 10-25-06

AOS Process

Sent AOS - 01/09/07

NOA arrived in the mail - 01/22/07

Biometrics Appointment - 02/02/07

Recieved EAD card - 04/02/07

Applied for SSN - 04/06/07

Recieved SSN - 04/16/07

AOS Interview - 06/06/07 - APPROVED

Greencard recieved - 06/22/07

Petition to remove conditions

Sent I-751 package - 03/13/09

Notice date - 03/27/09

Biometrics appointment - 04/11/09

CRIS email saying card production ordered - 07/25/09

That part is sooooo frustrating! I think it took nearly 4 weeks for my husband's to show up. DOS kept telling me that they had received the electronic file, but not the hardcopy. I don't know what that's all about, but it nearly made me cry everytime!

RFE Nov. 5, 2008 for incorrect fee

Nov. 6, 2008 Package returned to VSC with correct fee

NO COMMUNICATION FROM USCIS WHATSOEVER!

Feb. 25, 2010 Approval letter I-797C dated 2/19/2010 received.

Calling them is a complete waste of time and money...cost me a fortune to find out nothing...the best thing to do is to email them...although sometimes it can take a while for a reply..but they do get back to you eventually...good luck
