If you haven't even sent the form in, why don't you just do it right the first time? I'm confused. Those forms are downloadable from the USCIS.gov website. Why don't you just do it again?

PS, Joey, I don't mean to be rude, but how do you know? If you don't have personal experience, or can't provide a link or file, you shouldn't just provide information to people. You already misinformed some poor guy earlier today.

it's ok eventhough the dates are not in chronological order?

what i mean is... all dates of employment are in the box & all the unemployed are in the attachment..

would that be fine? some are dated 2004 in the box & some 2005 are in the attachment???

People have been RFE'd for this before. Why on earth would you want to confuse USCIS from the get-go?? Please explain.

The date are supposed to be in chronological order, and you are supposed to list periods of unemployment, not leave gaps. Check the G325 A here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k1guide

It tells you not to leave gaps.

Putting a note on an incorrectly filled out form on your first try seems, well, ridiculous.

Listen, I know it's a pain, but I think most people here will advise you to do it correctly the first time. You download the form, you fill it out, you sign it, and you overnight it to your fiance in the U.S. No biggie! You're pretty lucky you're in Canada!

Alex+R,

The G-325A is fillable via computer or with an ink pen. If there's an error or something does not fit into the space provided, you can make an attachment. If he does not want to download it again, he doesn't have to. That is his option.

Also, I am unsure which "poor guy" I misinformed earlier today. Share that with me, please.

Not if there's an error, if something does not fit. Where does it say: "if you royally screwed up your form, don't take the extra time to fit it---just add a confusing note to the back!" That would be....stupid. The reason the form does not address this is, I'm guessing, because USCiS does not want people to do a half-### job and just scribble "oops!" on another piece of paper. This is a bureaucracy.

You overconfidently told a guy worried about the IMBRA RFE that if he paid for it he should just write down the name of the company. You made it sound like you knew the answer when in fact your answer was incomplete and wrong. If you're going to spout wrong information, I think you should at least qualify it with an "I think, but I'm not sure" kind of statement.

Alex+R,

USCIS made the rules of adding attachments, not me. It is there to help those who forget and need to add info later, have long answers or just need a larger space to write in.

And Thank you, Alex+R, for pointing out that my "IMBRA RFE" response was incomplete. I stand corrected.

But doing your form one way and then adding an attachment saying that your original answer was wrong is not the same as adding new information or having a long answer. I don't see anywhere in the instructions that says it's ok to attach a note if you 'screw up' although I would be glad to stand corrected if I saw it!

Alex+R,

I understand you Alex+R. Sometimes the instructions must be understood for what they say as well as what they do not say. If you complete the docs in ink or you fill them out on the computer and find an error later, you are required by USCIS to provide the correct information. You can redo the entire form or mark through the "error" and add an attachment. Sure, the docs won't be pristeen, but all the information will exist and be acurate with the inclusion of the attachment. It's every petitioner's option provided by USCIS.

He asked a question "If he could add an attachment for the missing span of job history". That answer is "yes". My personal choice is to make all necessary corrections and then reprint everything. But that was NOT the question put to this forum. He may have a special reason why the docs could not be redone. I was responding to his immediate question. I am certain that if they have a computer in front of them, they will probably just correct, reprint, review and sign the docs!
