Have printed out forms for the process of applying for a petition for alien fiance and the non immimmigrant fiance visa application...number one question is do you have to petition for immigration before a visa application? question number two is what doing we provide for evidence of engagement? Thanks

Yes, the USC must send in the I-129F petition with supporting documentation before the intending immigrant will be allowed to apply for the K-1 visa and have an interview.

Evidence of engagement will be the letters of intent to marry from each of you.
